Safira wasn't quite sure what to do with herself, earlier that day she had taken Aurora for a check-up with the healer and had gotten some shocking news. Her daughter was completely healthy, but Safira was pregnant again. The mere thought made her want to sob hysterically- she hadn't wanted more children so soon, but in another nine months she was going to have another daughter to care for. After giving Aurora her bottle, Safira laid the infant down for her nap and walked to the kitchen in something of a daze.

From the freezer she selected a pint of chocolate ice cream, and after collecting a spoon she went to seat herself on the couch in the living room. Safira allowed herself to cry as she ate, she was feeling entirely overwhelmed.
